This project allowed me to explore my illustrative skills - using watercolor, fineliners and pens. The postcards were created either en plein air on location or from a photograph and painted afterwards.
The intent for the book is to keep it personable just like a postcard. The book size would be 8 by 9 inches so the postcards would be printed at scale (4 1/8 by 5 3/4 inches) either horizontal or vertical.
On the left page are personal reflections about the day the postcard was made while the right page has images of the postcard.
